Standard Invoice Template - AquaBlue edition ========================================================== This Excel workbook is a ready-to-use billing invoice for small businesses, freelancers and service providers, styled in a deep aqua-blue accent on a crisp white sheet. It contains three worksheets: "Invoice" for a simple invoice without tax, "InvoiceWithTax" for an invoice that adds a sales-tax line, and "Help" with written instructions for customising and sending the document. You fill in your own company name, address and phone number at the top, then complete the INVOICE #, DATE, CUSTOMER ID and TERMS boxes on the right-hand panel. The BILL TO and SHIP TO blocks hold the customer's name, company, address, phone and e-mail, and the SHIP TO block can simply be deleted when the two addresses are the same. Up to eighteen line items can be entered in the table, each with a description, quantity and unit price. The AMOUNT column calculates itself with the formula =IF(F21="",ROUND(1*G21,2),ROUND(F21*G21,2)), so a blank quantity is treated as one unit and every amount is rounded to two decimal places. The TOTAL cell adds the whole item range with =SUM(H21:H38), and on the tax sheet a SUBTOTAL, a TAX line calculated as =H39*4.25% and a grand TOTAL of =H39+H40 appear instead. The title cell H1 carries a drop-down list with the values INVOICE and RECEIPT; choosing RECEIPT makes the note "Paid in full. Thank you!" appear automatically beneath the total, so the same file doubles as a payment receipt. Negative amounts such as discounts are supported and shown in brackets by the accounting number format, and the currency symbol can be changed at any time through Format Cells. The print area is already set to a single portrait page, the light-grey notes in column J stay off the printout, and the finished invoice can be saved or e-mailed as a PDF straight from Excel.
