Sales Receipt Template - AquaBlue Edition This Microsoft Excel workbook is a ready-to-use cash and payment receipt form finished in a aqua blue colour scheme. A single worksheet named "Receipt" prints three identical receipt slips on one page, so one sheet of paper yields a customer copy, an office copy and a spare. Each slip records the date, a receipt number, the name of the payer, the amount received, what the payment is for and the period it covers. The figure typed into the Amount box is converted into words automatically on the line beneath it, drawing on the built-in "numbers" and "tens" lookup lists, so the written amount can never drift out of step with the numeric one. Tick boxes let the issuer mark whether the money arrived as cash, a check or a money order, and a signature block captures the name, address and telephone number of the person who received it. A small account panel on the right holds the account amount and the current payment, and works out the balance due on its own as account amount minus this payment. Every monetary cell uses the standard accounting currency format with two decimal places, so columns of receipts line up cleanly. Only the visual presentation differs from the source template: sheet name, cell addresses, merges, formulas, defined names and number formats are all unchanged, and the file therefore behaves exactly like the original. The print area is fixed to A1:J44 and gridlines are switched off, so the page prints exactly as it appears on screen. Fill in only the underlined and boxed fields - everything else is either a fixed label or a formula that maintains itself.
