A ready-to-use proforma invoice for sending a customer a binding price offer and payment request before goods are shipped or services are delivered. It is laid out on a single sheet that prints on one A4 page in portrait orientation. The header holds a logo placeholder, the proforma number and a currency field in which you enter any currency code, such as EUR, USD or GBP. Two facing blocks record the supplier's and the customer's details - company name, address, company registration number, VAT number and authorised person. The date of issue starts at 01.01.2027 and the Valid until date is calculated automatically thirty days later. Up to twelve lines of goods or services can be entered, and each line total is calculated as quantity times unit price. The taxable amount, the VAT at the rate entered in one cell and the total due are calculated by formulas. The total due label shows the currency code chosen in the header, so the same file works in any country. The amount in words, the bank details and the place of supply are filled in by the user. A short note explains that a proforma invoice is not a tax document and that the final invoice is issued once payment is received. The template suits small businesses, freelancers, exporters and consultants who need to confirm an order or request an advance payment.
